about the school
The NURORDA school-lyceum has been operating since 2007. Instruction follows the state programme in Kazakh; natural science subjects from grades 7 to 11 are taught in English. The school's advantage is strong preparation for international olympiads in mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science: its graduates regularly win gold medals at international competitions and go on to receive grants at leading universities worldwide. In senior school, science and mathematics subjects are taught under the Advanced Placement (AP) programme, depending on the chosen track. The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and is a candidate school for the IB PYP and MYP programmes. Graduates receive a Kazakhstani certificate.
