about the school
Bishkek International School (BIS) is the first IB World School in the Kyrgyz Republic, a non-profit community school operating since 2010. Instruction covers the full IB continuum: the Primary Years Programme (ages 3-10), the Middle Years Programme (ages 11-13) and the Diploma Programme (ages 16-18); for ages 14-16, the Cambridge IGCSE programme is offered as a transition into the IB DP. The school is accredited by the NEASC Council for International Schools and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
